ANYONE COULD BE A LEADER, BUT NOT EVERYONE IS A LEADER.

Almost everyone craves for a post of leadership. We have those with a defined purpose and there are those who pursue self interest. Well, anyone could be a leader but not everyone can be a true leader due to insufficient or no understanding of the concept of leadership.
Rephrasing the last sentence; "anyone could attain a post of leadership, but not everyone who does is a true leader".
The post of leadership is admirable, but it comes with a lot of responsibilities that most people who admire are not willing to take up. Anyone could be a leader if they would only chose to take responsibility.
There are 3 things I know, that defines a true leader,
•Foresight
•Ownership
•Initiative

The concept of leadership is not restricted to these three words, but these three play a key role in the life of every leader.

> FORESIGHT:
according to wikipedia, Foresight is the ability to predict or plan for the future.
A leader should have foresight, and be able to challenge himself.
In management/business context, Foresight is sometimes termed "vision".
The Bible said some things about writing a vision and making it plain, that He who reads it may run with it. A leader should be a vision writer, and must always be in motion, running with His vision that His followers may also run with him.
Leaders are always in motion, if a leader is not moving, He can't have followers.

>OWNERSHIP:
this is the state or fact of being an owner.
Part of the responsibilities of a leader is taking ownership, accepting your success and your failures.
Taking ownership entails no excuses, not blaming others for your failure. A leader should know that failure always creates an avenue for a better trial. Well, as much as it is hard to believe, failure creates motivation to do better in the next trial.
A leader should take ownership for even the faults of His followers.

>INITIATIVE:
this is the ability to access and start up things independently. Basically, a leader should be able to kick-off innovative plans, creating an exceptional pattern for the follower to walk through. Atimes people really do need to see what they haven't seen before to accredit a true leader.
One thing that defines a leader is His initiative, the power or opportunity to act or take charge before others do.

Anyone who can work with these three things, F.O.I. [Foresight Ownership Initiative] is the one who is really a leader.
