Be ye transformed...

Transformation is a great step a man has to take in life. Transformation with respect to humanity is a complete or major change in a man's life. It's an act. The major word we could hold on to in that definition is CHANGE.
I've come to realize that every Human is susceptible to change. Before you can change anything around you, you need to check yourself if you're a changed person.
When God created this life, He designed it to be progressive. Not all change is progress, but there cannot be progress without a change. CHANGE is a proof of progress.
The greatest and most profitable change a man can make in life is the transformation     into a new life in Christ.
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind..." -Romans 12:2.
From this passage, Change is known to be a thing of the mind. For you to be transformed, you need to have your mind renewed. Reading through the latter part of that verse "...that ye may know that which is good and acceptable, even that perfect will of God". Knowing the will of God for your life comes after a change in your mindset.
Many atimes, we human always wants to follow the trend, what is in vogue, and would be ignoring the need for a change. Prov. 23:7, "As a man thinketh, so He is".
Your outlook is as  a result of your mindset; the things you set your mind on, those things you often think about.
"Don't be conformed to this world...", If you do not set your mind and focus on God, His will would not be known to you. Jesus said, "seek it first, the kingdom of God and its righteousness, and all other things shall be added unto you".
All these things most people set their minds on, that is drawing them away from God, is in God's capacity to give.
Psalm 24:1, "The earth is the Lord's, and its fullness thereof...". God has everything in His capacity, all you have to do is Change your mindset, and turn your focus to Him.
Until you're transformed and you connect to God, the journey of life is never great.

The WORD and The Spirit...

The word of God is another means to which we can be Empowered. Many atimes, we talk about men of God like Bishop D. Oyedepo, Pastor E. Adeboye among others, to be very rich, these riches are not through diabolic means, but these men understands the ways of God, and have operated with the word.
Apostle Paul said to the Corinthians, "We have received not the spirit of this world, but the spirit of God making us to understand those things freely given to us by God" (I Corinthians 2:12). The word contains great things Jesus had put in place for us even while we are still on earth, but due to our ignorance of these things, we tend to lose possessions of them.
God said in the Book of Jeremiah 29:11, "I will bless you with a future filled with hope - a future of success, not suffering" [CEV]. Another version of this passage says, "I know what I'm doing, I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, plans to give you the future you hope for" [MSG]. How many Christians today, knows the plan of God for them?.
One reason why most Christians remain poor is that they are ignorant of the power in the word they carry, and even some are ignorant of their possessions.
Christ said, "I became poor, that ye may be rich and have the riches in abundance", failure to study the word for us to know and claim our possessions, brings about a set-back in the future we hope for. Like a friend of mine do say, The Scripture is the Script to your future.
Now let's take a look at the place of the spirit in the word; The Bible says, "The letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life". Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He said He was going to send us another comforter who'll teach us all things and bring to our remembrance all what He has said. From here we could see the Holyspirit is the Teacher, He is to teach us the word, and to also open our eyes to know the things God has for us(His plans).
The Holyspirit has intellectual ability to know things (I Corinthians 2:10-11), and these things He communicates to us to guide, comfort and most of all, empower us.
Let me conclude with this, The Bible says, "And ye shall receive power after the Holyghost has come upon thee", Once you give space for the Holyspirit to dwell in your life, you will receive Power, and when you're able to study the word and keep walking with it, your power would be made manifest.

What you need to be Empowered...

The key thing you need  to  be empowered is KNOWLEDGE. Knowledge is what brings about empowerment. Knowledge is knowing. Daddy Oyedepo once said and I  quote, "Schooling only brings about literacy, but your investment in literature is what determines your actual future". And the Bible also said, "the amount of thoughts and study you give to what you hear is the amount of knowledge that comes back to you", so knowledge comes via studying, which implies that empowerment also comes through study. But I say to you that true knowledge comes through studying the word of God, "For the Lord gives wisdom, and from His mouth come KNOWLEDGE and understanding" -Proverbs 2:6. As Faith comes by hearing, knowledge comes through the study of those things you hear. You don't dwell on what you hear alone, a deeper study of what you hear broadens your knowledge which brings about your empowerment.

You're not poor because you don't have money, you  are poor because you are  not empowered. There are no poor countries, we only classify a country as a poor country when the rich people outnumber the poor. The reason why some nations still face challenges is because while some nations are committed to solving their problems, some keep celebrating it.
