THE SECOND CREATION

The process of the first creation is not any different from the process of the second creation; it is just the place of occurrence that differs. The process of the second creation has to do with the transformation of man at new birth, “therefore, if anyone is in Christ, He is a new creation...” II Cor. 5:17 [NIV]. The new creation in this passage is the second creation.
In the next few paragraphs, we’ll be going through the process of the new creation in relation to the first creation. In other words, the significance of every account of the first creation in the second creation.
From Gen. 1:1-2; every man at the first stage of His life was formed in darkness, just as David said, “…in sin did my mother conceive me” Psalm 51:5. But as the god of this world is moving round seeking whom to devour, so is the Spirit of God moving round seeking an open heart to dwell.
Gen 1:3; “…let there be light”. This is the first stage of transformation where illumination is set into the man with an open heart. But in this case, the light comes in a different dimension. The light in this case is Jesus Christ, this light is as a result of accepting the life in the word [Jesus Christ]; “in Him was life, and the life was the light of men” John 1:4[NIV]. The command ‘…let there be light’ was brought into accomplishment by the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit.
Gen 1:4-5; there is something about light, anywhere a light shines, darkness is driven away. In the same way, when the light of God shines in a man’s life, it causes a separation from darkness. Unlike in the first creation, “day” refers to the times of unlimited joy and happiness, abundant blessing, and “night” refers to the time of trials and sorrows that come up in the journey of a man’s life.
All these things on the light have to do with the first stage of transformation 0f a man with respect to the second creation.
Gen 1:6-13; there is also the separation of waters, and the drying up of some waters to form land. In a man’s life, there must be a river of living waters, and there must also be a land that bears fruits, and every man is a product of the fruits He bears. The land produces fruits while the waters give life to these fruits.
Gen 1:14-19; even after the making of light and the separation of light from darkness, there was the provision of two great lights, in which the lesser light was to overcome the darkness, to fulfill the scriptures, “even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you” Psalm 139:12[NIV], and because God would never leave His own people. The lesser light signifies the presence of God in the darkest times in the man’s life. As a saying goes, “He might not promise you a safe journey, but there’s always an assurance of a safe landing”, and the scriptures also made us understand that His thoughts towards us is to give us an expected end [Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)].
One important and significant event in the first creation that also has an important significance in the second creation is in Gen 1:26-27; this has to do with the making of ‘YOU’ in ‘YOU’. This is the making of a personality in a man’s life that would nurture the fruits, till the land, dominate everything in the man’s life. It is this personality that relates with God. This particular stage ends the whole process of transformation, and it is until this process come to an end before God starts relating directly to a man.
And if God hasn’t come to rest in your life, then your process of transformation hasn’t come to an end.

It is in YOU...

What many people, even so called Christians, don't seem to understand is that even right from their birth they've been loaded(equipped) with resources with which they would succeed in life. The very point where they miss it is just the lack of the real definition of success. Many believe that their success in this race of life is attached to their academics, many think it lies in the succession of their generations, but not many people know that success lies in living a full life; in other words, a fulfilled life.
Living a full life has to do with living a purpose driven life, your life can only be tagged "Full" after you've fulfilled your purpose, and that is real SUCCESS.
And one of our greatest assignments as Christians, is to make God's divine power be made known to the world, The scriptures said; "Here's another way to put it: You're here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world..." Matthew 5:14[MSG].
What many of you dont know is that you are born loaded with everything you'll need, so that his divine power Will be made known to the world. His divine power has given you all things that you require to excel in life and godliness.
Have you ever thought of this; Gold, Diamond, and all the fine natural resources are brought of the same ground in which man was formed, then if this same God could put such wonderful things there, how much more would be inside of you.
The first step to being successful is Discovery; discovering your God given potentials, which you'll use to make impart in people's life.
The second is getting to understand the principles of Giving; having the knowledge of the fact that most material things given to you by God is a seed, a seed that brings life, a seed given to you to plant in the life of others. Knowing that even when GOD gives you something and sooner or later, asks you to let go of it, He would actually give back something greater.
The most important part is placing your focus on God; "The world and all that is in it belong to the Lord ; the earth and all who live on it are his..." Psalms 24:1 [GNB]... The lack of understanding of this particular verse make some people run faster than their shadows. They crave after the material things, and think having those things in their possession defines their success.
Forgetting that success is not in wealth, but in how much you're able to live a FULL life; a life with God in every episode.
I urge you to discover God's purpose for your life, and begin to operate in that direction, because it is only by that you can be successful.

Discover the King in You.

Do you know that you're from Royalty?.

I was listening to a song by Donald Lawrence few months back, and the message of that song hit me; "There is a King in you".
Let Me share some of the lyrics;
"You come from royalty,
    An aristocratic dynasty,
        The goal of the enemy,
             Is that you don't know who you are..."

Well, I grew up with the knowledge of the fact that the devil is the founder of lies, and the father of liars, and even as time went on, I confirmed it with the help of the Holyspirit, that truly, He always tries His best to hold back the truth from us. One vital truth he hides from us is our royal personality, the fact that we are Kings & Queens. He's aware that the moment we come into the realization of our royal personality, it'll b revealed to us that we have an upper edge over him, and that he falls under our authority. He understands the power in royalty, and even the Bible talked about it in Ecclesiastes 8:4; "where the word of a King is, there is power...". He knows the moment you come into the true knowledge of your personality; as a king, he becomes subjected to you, and as a King does not negotiate with his subjects, he makes the decree.
I know many us are still wondering where the royalty comes from. Well, let me reveal to you that we were all made in the likeness of the King of Kings.
"Then God said, 'let us make man in our image, according to our likeness; let have dominion...over all the earth..." - Genesis 1:26 [NKJV].
God, the creator, created you to be a King, to have dominion over all the earth, to rule over the princes of this earth, in which the devil isn't left out.
Reading through Hebrews 2:5-8, you'll get to realize that God has set man over all the works of His hands, and has put all things in subjection under man's feet.
One thing is, you don't get to exercise your power and authority when you don't even know you have them, when you don't know there is a king you. The devil has actually planted ignorance in your heart, hiding the truth from you. But this is the good news, Christ said, "you shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free", knowing the truth of the fact that there is a king in you, sets you free from the bondage of the devil.
The wise man said in Ecclesiastes 10:7, "I have seen slaves on horseback, while princes go on foot like slaves" [NIV].
The princes don't just go on foot because they want to, they do so due to their ignorance. They've been blindfolded by their own slave[The devil]. And it is high time the prince got back on the horseback, and the slave on foot. It is time you start exercising your authority by reminding the devil that he is subjected to you and not the other way round.
Nevertheless, we must not ignore another fact, which is that before you can exercise your power or authority, you have to get acquinted with the King of kings, because it is from him we draw out the mysterious virtues to do mysterious things, He is the source of our power. It is until you walk with Him, that you walk in power, and you begin to speak with authority.
Hence, we can say that our royalty is of the supernatural, and as every natural happenings are determined by events in the supernatural, so also all natural things are subjected to the supernatural. The supernatural is the foundation of all things; the natural answers to it.
As a King from the supernatural, all natural things answer to you, in which poverty, sickness, and the likes are not left out, even the devil himself falls under your authority.
So you have to have stand, take charge and rule, because "You are a King".

Be ye transformed...

Transformation is a great step a man has to take in life. Transformation with respect to humanity is a complete or major change in a man's life. It's an act. The major word we could hold on to in that definition is CHANGE.
I've come to realize that every Human is susceptible to change. Before you can change anything around you, you need to check yourself if you're a changed person.
When God created this life, He designed it to be progressive. Not all change is progress, but there cannot be progress without a change. CHANGE is a proof of progress.
The greatest and most profitable change a man can make in life is the transformation     into a new life in Christ.
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind..." -Romans 12:2.
From this passage, Change is known to be a thing of the mind. For you to be transformed, you need to have your mind renewed. Reading through the latter part of that verse "...that ye may know that which is good and acceptable, even that perfect will of God". Knowing the will of God for your life comes after a change in your mindset.
Many atimes, we human always wants to follow the trend, what is in vogue, and would be ignoring the need for a change. Prov. 23:7, "As a man thinketh, so He is".
Your outlook is as  a result of your mindset; the things you set your mind on, those things you often think about.
"Don't be conformed to this world...", If you do not set your mind and focus on God, His will would not be known to you. Jesus said, "seek it first, the kingdom of God and its righteousness, and all other things shall be added unto you".
All these things most people set their minds on, that is drawing them away from God, is in God's capacity to give.
Psalm 24:1, "The earth is the Lord's, and its fullness thereof...". God has everything in His capacity, all you have to do is Change your mindset, and turn your focus to Him.
Until you're transformed and you connect to God, the journey of life is never great.

The WORD and The Spirit...

The word of God is another means to which we can be Empowered. Many atimes, we talk about men of God like Bishop D. Oyedepo, Pastor E. Adeboye among others, to be very rich, these riches are not through diabolic means, but these men understands the ways of God, and have operated with the word.
Apostle Paul said to the Corinthians, "We have received not the spirit of this world, but the spirit of God making us to understand those things freely given to us by God" (I Corinthians 2:12). The word contains great things Jesus had put in place for us even while we are still on earth, but due to our ignorance of these things, we tend to lose possessions of them.
God said in the Book of Jeremiah 29:11, "I will bless you with a future filled with hope - a future of success, not suffering" [CEV]. Another version of this passage says, "I know what I'm doing, I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, plans to give you the future you hope for" [MSG]. How many Christians today, knows the plan of God for them?.
One reason why most Christians remain poor is that they are ignorant of the power in the word they carry, and even some are ignorant of their possessions.
Christ said, "I became poor, that ye may be rich and have the riches in abundance", failure to study the word for us to know and claim our possessions, brings about a set-back in the future we hope for. Like a friend of mine do say, The Scripture is the Script to your future.
Now let's take a look at the place of the spirit in the word; The Bible says, "The letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life". Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He said He was going to send us another comforter who'll teach us all things and bring to our remembrance all what He has said. From here we could see the Holyspirit is the Teacher, He is to teach us the word, and to also open our eyes to know the things God has for us(His plans).
The Holyspirit has intellectual ability to know things (I Corinthians 2:10-11), and these things He communicates to us to guide, comfort and most of all, empower us.
Let me conclude with this, The Bible says, "And ye shall receive power after the Holyghost has come upon thee", Once you give space for the Holyspirit to dwell in your life, you will receive Power, and when you're able to study the word and keep walking with it, your power would be made manifest.

What you need to be Empowered...

The key thing you need  to  be empowered is KNOWLEDGE. Knowledge is what brings about empowerment. Knowledge is knowing. Daddy Oyedepo once said and I  quote, "Schooling only brings about literacy, but your investment in literature is what determines your actual future". And the Bible also said, "the amount of thoughts and study you give to what you hear is the amount of knowledge that comes back to you", so knowledge comes via studying, which implies that empowerment also comes through study. But I say to you that true knowledge comes through studying the word of God, "For the Lord gives wisdom, and from His mouth come KNOWLEDGE and understanding" -Proverbs 2:6. As Faith comes by hearing, knowledge comes through the study of those things you hear. You don't dwell on what you hear alone, a deeper study of what you hear broadens your knowledge which brings about your empowerment.
